Nucleic Acid Extraction and Purification
Whether you are interested in immediate testing or storing samples for the future, Gentris has extensive expertise with nucleic acid extraction and purification. Gentris utilizes state-of-the-art automation and skilled technicians to extract and isolate DNA and RNA from a wide variety of sample types in a CLIA certified and GLP-compliant laboratory. We conduct over 50,000 extractions per year and our systems are easily scalable to quickly accommodate large projects.
Gentris’ extraction processes are conducted using our validated standard operating procedures. Through our validated SOP’s and experiences, we have a history of obtaining high-yield and high-quality DNA or RNA from samples. Once the genetic material has been isolated, quantified, and verified for quality, it is ready for genotyping or gene expression studies or is banked in the Integrated Biorepository. In addition, Gentris experts are able to leverage 10 years of experience in the field to maximize yields by advising sponsors on best practices for collection, storage, and/or shipping of samples.
